Characteristics of Applicable Products

This chromatographic method is suitable for the separation of components with medium molecular mass that are soluble in organic solvents, and for the separation of different types of compounds, such as compounds with different substituents or compounds with the same substituents but different numbers of substituents. For the separation of isomers, adsorption chromatography has higher selectivity than other liquid chromatography methods, but it is not suitable for the separation of homologues or some alkyl substituents.
