Description
Vasicinol, which usually comes from the leaves of Adhatoda vasica Nees, shows a high sucrase inhibitory activity with IC50 value of 250 μM. It could be used to treat metabolic disorders. It also can be used as a transient hypotensive agent, cardiac depressant and histamine antagonist. Vasicinol shows mild anticholinesterase activity.
