Description
Thalidezine is an alkaloid isolated from the roots of Thalictrum podocarpum Humb. Biolayer interferometry analysis and AMPK kinase assays indicated that thalidezine is a novel AMPK activator. It eliminates apoptosis-resistant cancer cells and induces autophagic cell death in apoptosis-resistant cancer via AMPK signaling.
