Description
Tetrahydroalstonine may be extracted from the herbs of Uncaria rhynchophylla (Miq.) Miq. ex Havil. Raubasine and Tetrahydroalstonine preferentially block the pressor responses of post-synaptic alpha-adrenergic receptor activation due to endogenous and exogenous noradrenaline, respectively.
