Description

Sarmentosin is isolated from the herb of Sedum sarmetosum Bunge. It shows a good effect in lowering serum glutamate-pyruvate transaminase and lowering the SGPT level of patients suffering from chronic viral hepatitis. It also shows a suppressive effect on cell-mediated immune responses in mice.
