Description

Sakuranetin is a natural flavonoid isolated from the leaves of Oryza sativa L. Sakuranetin exhibits the activity of antifungal and may have the function of maintaining glucose homeostasis in animals. As the major flavonoid phytoalexin in rice, sakuranetin can be induced by ultraviolet (UV) irradiation, treatment with CuCl 2 or jasmonic acid (JA), or phytopathogenic infection.
