Description
Pectolinarin, which can be found in the herbs of Cirsium japonicum DC, possesses anti-inflammatory activity and may inhibit eicosanoid formation in inflammatory lesions. It exerted a better analgesic effect than linarin. Pectolinarin also increased activity levels of GSH, GR, GCS, and GST, as well as SOD.
