Description
Mangiferin is a natural xanthone isolated from Anemarrhena asphodeloides Bunge rhizome. The distinctive gold-orange fluorescence of Mangiferin under ultraviolet light , it has been used to aid in the chromatographic identification of hybrid Aspleniums.
