Description
Genistin is the major isoflavonoid found in soybeans and soy products. Studies in the 1970s suggested that 99% of the isoflavonoid compounds in soy products are present as their glucosides. Genistin acts as a selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM) and exhibits antioxidant activity and anticarcinogenic property.
