Description

GB-2a is extracted from the fruits of Garcinia xanthochymus. It can reduce melanin biosynthesis in B16F10 cells and promote inhibition on tyrosinase activity, thus may be used as a depigmenting agent in medical and cosmetic. It can prevent the carrageenan-induced paw oedema and shows anti-inflammatory effects. It also has antioxidant activity.
