Description
Diosmin is a flavonoid glycoside found in citrus fruits. Diosmin exhibits vasoprotective, anti-inflammatory, free-radical scavenging, and antimutagenic properties via inhibiting prostaglandin E2 and thromboxane A2. It also inhibits the adhesion, migration, and activation of leukocytes at the capillary level. Diosmin can be used in health products.
