Description
Dehydrogeijerin is a coumarin that can be isolated from the roots of Angelica dahurica var. formosana cv. Chuanbaizhi. Study shows that dehydrogeijerin reduces nitric oxide (NO) and inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) production from LPS-stimulated Raw 264.7 cells, and decreases cyclooxigenase-2 (COX-2) and pro-inflammatory cytokine production. Dehydrogeijerin has the anti-inflammatory effects.
