Description

Calycanthine is an alkaloid isolated from seeds of Chimonanthus praecox. Calycanthine exhibits potent antifungal activity against five plant pathogenic fungi including Exserohilum turcicum, Bipolaris maydis, Alternaria solani, Sclerotinia sderotiorum and Fusarium oxysportium.
