Description
Benzoylpaeoniflorin is a derivative of Paeoniflorin isolated from the root of Paeonia lactiflora Pall. It is active against cyclooxygenase-1 and cyclooxygenase-2 enzymes. It inhibits monocyte phagocytosis, or the TNF-α and PGE-2 production of monocytes.
