Description
Benzimidazole (CAS# 51-17-2) is used as a reagent in the synthesis of Chalcone (C291855) derivatives which can exhibit antiplasmodial activity. Benzimidazole is also a reagent in the synthesis of quinazolines and quinazolinones which can be used as anti-inflammatory agents and PDE4B inhibitors.
