5,7,3',4'-Tetrahydroxy-3-methoxy-8,5'-diprenylflavone

5,7,3',4'-Tetrahydroxy-3-methoxy-8,5'-diprenylflavone is extracted from the barks of Broussonetia papyrifera. It inhibits tumor growth in a xenograft model of the human breast cancer line BCAP-37 in vivo. It has potent anti-proliferation effects on ER-positive breast cancer MCF-7 cells with the IC50 value of 4.41 uM in vitro. It can strongly down-regulate expression concentrations of estrogen receptor-α (ER-α).
