Description
An impurity of Vildagliptin. Vildagliptin is a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor that is used as an anti-hyperglycemic agent. Vildagliptin could reduce hyperglycemia in type 2 diabetes mellitus via the suppressive effect of inactivation of GLP-1 and GIP by DPP-4.
