Description
Protopanaxdiol is an aglycon metabolic derivative of the protopanaxadiol-type ginseng saponin extracted from the roots of Panax ginseng C. A. Mey. It is an apoptosis inducer with anti-tumor effect that was used to induce cytotoxicity for two human glioma cell lines. Protopanaxadiol can be used as nutritional supplement in health care products.
