Description
2-Cyclopropyl-4-(4-fluorophenyl)-3-quinolinemethanol is one of Pitavastatin intermediates. Pitavastatin, also called as itavastatin, is a potent HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor. And studies showed that pitavastatin inhibited the activity of Rho-kinase depending on the inactivation of Rho by inhibiting the mevalonate pathway.
